Key Questions About Logistics and the Safety of Your Cargo
What are FCL and LCL, and which option is more cost-effective for me?
FCL (Full Container Load) involves chartering an entire container (20 or 40 feet). This is the most cost-effective option for large shipments or bulky equipment.
LCL (Less than Container Load) is consolidated cargo. Your goods are shipped in a single container with cargo from other customers. You pay only for the volume (m³) occupied by your products. This is the ideal solution for small businesses, private customers, or test shipments.
How is the cost of ocean freight calculated?
For less-than-container load (LCL) shipments, the basic units of measurement are cubic meters (m³) and weight. For full container loads (FCL), a fixed rate is set for the entire container. We include port charges, loading and unloading services, and documentation in our rates upfront to avoid any surprises.
What are the actual shipping times, and do delays ever occur?
Shipping by sea is the most cost-effective but also the longest logistics option. On average, transit time from Asian ports to customs clearance in Ukraine is 60–75 days. We always provide realistic timelines, not ideal ones, so you can accurately plan your inventory and business budget.
Is my cargo protected from moisture and damage at sea?
Yes. Before loading at our consolidation warehouse, we carefully inspect the packaging of each box. If necessary, we provide additional strapping for fragile items and use desiccants. In addition, all shipments are required to be insured for the entire duration of transit.
Could there be additional costs at the port (storage, demurrage)?
Maritime logistics often comes with the risk of hidden fees at unloading ports. But we handle all the freight forwarding ourselves and strictly monitor document submission deadlines. All standard port charges are already included in our fixed rate—you pay exactly the amount we agreed upon before shipment.

Sea Container Shipping from China to Ukraine — Cargo F58
Sea freight from China is the most cost-effective and widely used method for transporting large cargo volumes. Cargo F58 arranges container shipments from all major Chinese ports: Shanghai, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Tianjin, Qingdao, and Shenzhen. We hold direct contracts with leading shipping lines and provide end-to-end delivery from factory in China to warehouse in Ukraine.
FCL vs LCL — what to choose?
FCL (Full Container Load) — you rent an entire 20′ or 40′ container exclusively for your cargo. No third-party goods, no contamination risk. FCL is optimal for volumes from 15 CBM (20′) or 25 CBM (40′). Key advantages: lower cost per CBM for large shipments, reduced damage risk, faster customs clearance, flexible departure scheduling.
LCL (Less than Container Load) — your cargo is consolidated with other shippers’ goods. You pay only for the volume you use, measured in CBM. Ideal for 0.5–15 CBM. Fixed weekly departures from major ports — no need to wait for a full container.
